Scroll a bit further down in one of the main folders, and you can find the files in ZIP, RAR, or 7Z format. In Firefox, you right-click on the desired file and go to "Save Link As" (if you're on Chrome, you have to figure out the Chrome equivalent of said function).SeamusH wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 8:08 am @bondjamesbond, Thanks very much for that!
That's a whole lot of stuff. Looking forward to going through it!
Except now I am looking at it I don't see how I can actually download these files. I have IDM and Freedownload Manager. The former only downloads HTML files while the latter just errors out. Do I actually need to install Freebox OS to access these files easily?
Apologies for being such a numpty but any help would be appreciated!
Thanks again.

Thanks - that allows me to download them within the subfolders, so I guess I can make it work that way (with some effort).
It would have been nice to have been able to download a folder (and by extension everything within that folder) but I can work with this. Thanks for your help.

I added Nikivdd Equipment File through the GME programme, and now there are more units in Panzer General!

Just so I am clear because I just downloaded the PG Campaign. You added Nico's equipment file from the other mods he created for Polish and other mods that he has been recently tweaking?bondjamesbond wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 8:23 am I added Nikivdd Equipment File through the GME programme, and now there are more units in Panzer General!

The equipment file can be downloaded from the first page of the campaign series project. Currently the size is about 200 Mb.goose_2 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 2:53 pmJust so I am clear because I just downloaded the PG Campaign. That's right ) Nico has created an excellent unit park that can also be used in the vanilla game ) More different units mean more varied tactics!goose_2 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 2:53 pmJust so I am clear because I just downloaded the PG Campaign. Re: Panzer General original campaign for PzC (v1.1)(07/01/17)
Thanks for this but I had tried this as the first option. Unfortunately, irrespective of which browser I tried, it was only downloading the files/folders as HTML. I tried disabling the various download manager extensions as this had been suggested as a cause but no luck there either. Luckily, Nikivdd has given me a Mediafire link for this campaign, so that's taken care of. I'll have to keep an eye out for other alternative links for the other campaigns.BeADriver wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 12:07 pmScroll a bit further down in one of the main folders, and you can find the files in ZIP, RAR, or 7Z format. Note - for clarity, I should qualify that I am talking about downloading the containing folder rather than the individual files, which I can do but was hoping to avoid having to do!
Re: Panzer General original campaign for PzC (v1.1)(07/01/17)
I have IDM as well, but right-clicking on the ZIP/RAR/7Z files and going to "Save Link As" brings out the usual "Download File Info" dialog for me, as it would for any other file on any other website. There is an error message that pops up at the same time, but it can be ignored and closed with no issues.
I wonder if your problem has anything to do with your IDM settings. The aforementioned file formats are in the "Automatically start downloading the following file types:" list, aren't they?
I'm able to download these files via Firefox only, and having IDM disabled as well.

Re: Panzer General original campaign for PzC (v1.1)(07/01/17)
Not sure what the issue was but I have found that by disabling the IDM integration and then just clicking on the IDM extension link/button (i.e. in the browser toolbar), I was able to see the files in the pop-up as zip/7z/rar files and then download them.BeADriver wrote: ↑Tue Dec 30, 2025 10:07 am I have IDM as well, but right-clicking on the ZIP/RAR/7Z files and going to "Save Link As" brings out the usual "Download File Info" dialog for me, as it would for any other file on any other website. Strangely, having then re-enabled the IDM integration, I am finding that right-clicking is now also allowing me to download the files in the correct format! So I should be all good to go!
Many thanks to you and everyone else who helped me get this across the line!
Happy New Year to you all!

Hello Nico and for anyone else that has feedback.
I have been interested in this as soon as I saw it pop up here.
But if I may make a suggestion, Please set up switchable units like in Locarnus mod so that ground units and air units can make switches based on the heroes they randomly get?
That is an outstanding upgrade option that I would like seen in more of the mods going forward as it mitigates hero farming and allows for players to adjust based on random hero acquisition.
I am thinking I will play at Field Marshall level as want to take it easy after all the hard playthroughs I am currently playing.

This one was made to run with the vanilla equipment file, but i guess any compatible equipment file would work too.
