Dear players,

It is possible to request a pause for your ongoing PBEM games during the period starting today, December 23, with a resumption no later than Monday, January 5.
You may of course request a shorter pause if desired.

Please indicate an approximate time for both the pause and the resumption. I will respect it with a margin of plus or minus 4 hours. The requested time must not be between 22:00 and 06:00 CET. The same constraint applies to the resumption time.

From now on, at least two players from the same PBEM must make the request here, clearly mentioning the PBEM concerned. This is to avoid unilateral decisions that might not be accepted by the other players.

I also ask that you communicate with the other participants, either by directing them to this thread, which can serve as a discussion space for pauses, or by clearly informing them that a pause has been scheduled.

Our frozen game appears to still be frozen. The turn deadline keeps getting pushed back, and it now says Dec 31. What's going on? As of 2300 CET yesterday it was still not accepting turns.

Another suggestion for this is that all players should be allowed to turn in their turn even when paused, but the turn should not roll over before its unpaused, so some players doesn't lose a turn.
