Dramatic and odd drop in my Slitherine Ranking

To whom can help:

I had a mirror match vs an opponent where my rank was 1168 and his was 1153. We split the mirror but afterward my rank dropped to 1072. My understanding of the ranking system says this is not possible (I can show this drop with screen captures if needed). Can someone look into this and explain the drop to me or fix it?

This is what I got back:

I looked at the data.
Before starting the challenge, the rating was 1240 – 1050.
One game was won by Player A (rating 1240), while the second game by player B.

Users’ ELO Rating variation calculated after the end of instance A: 8, after instance B: 22.

This means Payer A got: 1240 + 8 -22 = 1226
Player B = 1050 – 8 + 22

Which is correct. The key point is the ratings used by calculations are the ones before the start of the challenge, not the ones right before the end of the instances.

I will further enquire as to how you then ended up going down to 1072.

Could we get them to reinstate the players rating scores for the last 5 battles ?
That was really helpful to be able to see and would clarify what had happened in this case, it was disappointing when it disappeared.
