A tough game with a lot of manoeuvring and realignment. The battle started late in the day and it was hard to fight so many elephants. Thanks to my opponent for a hard battle.

After a disastrous start when the Arab CinC died causing many fraggs and disruptions, the Arab superior spear fought their way to a very tough victory. Medals to some Bedouin foot who held out in some rough terrain against elephants and Dailami.

The battlefield favoured Castile who were on high grounds behind a stream. I managed to spring an ambush of Irregular Foot in a wood on my left and more or less won in the centre, while men-at-arms fought indecisively on my right.

Two good games. Thanks Chris. Advantage to Castile, but enough in both games to make it interesting

Indians took out the win against Indo-Greeks in both matches. In my victory an elephant-powered uphill assault proved key to winning while for his win principesromanes used his firepower and chariots well to shoot up my advancing units and bog down my key melee units with ZOC. Two tough matches against a skilled and friendly player. Looking forward to next time!

The Sassanids left all but light foot at home and fought with a large force of horse archers. The Sassanids killed off the few number Arab cavalry but then had a much more diffficult task trying to separate and kill the superior spears.
