Odd effects

I had a couple of strange things happen in a mirror match.
A unit tested and dropped cohesion for a rout that was two tiles away (maybe because the replay was out of sync with the actual combat results, if that is possible)
A unit with a general that bounced off during the enemy turn didn't have CC during my turn, nor did nearby units. Possibly because my opponent didn't execute the combat and left it to the AI. Can it make a difference if a player doesn't execute combats ?
Anyway, nothing can be done about it as I can't reproduce but thought I should report it.

Hard to say.

I imagine that is the reason.
