Continuing Campaign does not Import General Traits

Just replaying AO; however, when continuing the campaign (at the end of a scenario like Spanisch Civil War, you get a 'Do you want to continue with AO 1939?), my General's traits aren't imported. I also don't get the screen to select the traits.
Doing it manually (ie, not Continuing the campaign, but starting a new game with, in the example, 1939, and then selecting general traits still works.
Makes the 'Continue' convenience option rather unconvenient.

Still an issue for me after (very slowly) installing version 1.18.05 today

It used to be you were able to select which saved campaign you wanted to progress with

Workaround is to start a new campaign

Not exactly sure why, but I think its always wise to start a campaign and import your core manually.
