You're right, I played the original Panzer General campaign modded by yourself and also GTGP (my preferred campaign).
Problem is also for standard campaign of Panzer Corps and DLC West: you are using altered icons for Soviets and Germans, not really for Allies.
You told me in the past that it was not a priority and I understand.
But I played the modded original Panzer General, it was fine, just the Allied have a less brilliant "look" than their Soviet and German counterparts.
Besides this the campaign was fully playable with your mod.
I should test GTPG.

as recommended, I play now the GTPG. After Madrid and Danzig, now I have a Map called "3rd Tutorial" which can not be ended successfully. Already after turn 8 from 15 I have captured all objects but the game does not stop until the last turn, where I finally get the message "loss"! Can this bug be fixed somehow? kind reguards, miliz ltk
Getting a map called 3rd Tutorial in the middle of the GTPG campaign sounds like something went wrong with the install.

There is also this thread called GTPG Version 2, where the second post of the thread by jeffoot77 provides a "GTPG 2.0" version for download:

I'm not sure about the differences to the 1.18 version of GTPG?

That linked GTPG Version 2 thread also has a campaign path shown in the first post of the second page:

I'm not sure what happened, but maybe someone else might?
longer, alternative "PG" like Campaign new version 0.34 from 2011.08.02 (another bugfix & now in zip format)

Someone else may correct me, but I believe the mechanics of the campaigns are the same, and that the changes for version 2 are cosmetic (graphics and sound).

Hello,

You cannot have on PC at the same time GTPG 1.16 and GTPG 1.18. You must only use GTPG 1.18 if you want to make sure you are using the last version, otherwise on screen you have two times GTPG 1.16 (perhaps logical since the two campaigns have the same internal number) and you do not know which one is the last one.

Just to inform you that this wonderful campaign works very well using DMP Ostfront 4.2 available at Streitmacht Website:http://www.streitmacht.com/viewtopic.php?f=182&t=5163
Unfortunately the nice new start screen only works for the German version, the old one is still used for the English version (it took me hours to understand it, I thought I did not have the final version).

The game desktop icon (red cross) existing in version 1.21 has been replaced by the standard black cross in version 4.2. Sadly if you copy-paste it in version 4.2, on screen the icon remains black, but this is a detail.
There is no (German) voice in briefings as we had in version 1.21. How to get back German briefing sounds in English version of the game as we had previously ? Simple : copy Library\Localization\de\Audio\Voice to Audio\Voice.

I finished Moscow 43 where you can continue playing against the Soviets (best option with this mod) or continue with the Allies (works but icons are original ones so not reworked).

GTPG campaign or any German campaign vs the Soviets or any Soviet campaign with this mod should work perfectly. Maps and sounds are changed (not only units), this make this mod unique. If you combine this mod with GTPG the result is outstanding! Have fun!

This mod works also very good with standard Eastern Front DLCs.
Keep in mind that localizations like hexes named by letters are replaced by white, yellow or red flags, or even specific icons. In short you easily see where to move units if the scenario has specific rules.
The sole drawback is to find objectives (cities to conquer), the workaround is to use the strategic map then case solved.

Ostfront 4.2 can also be found on jeffoot's archive, which is the more convenient mirror for most as Streitmacht requires an account to download its hosted files and registration isn't exactly straightforward (I tried to create an account on here and I have yet to receive my activation email). http://jeffoot.freeboxos.fr:41226/share ... uG8YD/dmp/

I'm a bit confused, though. This thread on Streitmacht lists Mediafire mirrors for DMP's mods (http://www.streitmacht.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=6183), including the 4.12 version of Ostfront. Which version is the latest?

Hi BeADriver,

The latest version is 4.2. It is based on version 1.30 of Pz Corps and thus allows you to play the standard DLCs too!
With GTPG campaign this is an outstanding experience (if you stay in the East since no icon rework was made for Western units).

Here is version 4.2:

Yes Jeffoot provides also the same version.
Yes you need an account on Streitmacht but you can interact on their forum in English and this is useful.
