Since some new people were asking me recently, I'm just going to make a small list of unit stats here as quick reference. Maybe to compensate for the great "unit navigator tool" website that doesn't exist anymore.

If anybody wants to contribute, just post the text here in a format that I can copy easily, and I'll add it to the above list.

Hopefully it will be useful for new players.

Francois, view range is a little more complicated than hexes.
Each unit, as per the units.csv file, has a LOS allowance.
Each terrain type, as per the terrain.csv file, has a LOS cost.
The mechanics is the same as for movement, unit allowance and terrain cost.

yeah I know. But these are just basic guidelines that apply on regular open terrain or water.

Same goes for movement points. It's annoying (at least for new players) when it says that infantry can move 6, but then one finds out it only applies on paved roads on open terrain.
I think it's much more useful as a general overview to know that infantry can move 3 hexes on regular open terrain without roads
