replayable multiplayer maps

Post by FrancoisPhilidor »

Hi,
Just wanted to ask for recommendations of multiplayer maps that are a little bit more interesting in terms of planning and strategy; where you have some flexibility and replayability

I find the following maps are worth a replay:

Wake Island Assault
Peninsula Invasion
Fork (to a degree, although it doesn't allow unit placement)

Many other maps are unfortunately a bit monotonous. There is just one direction where the enemy can come from, and there is no space for maneuvers and surprises.

If anyone has any good recommendations, that would be nice

I totally get your point about the importance of strategic maps for multiplayer games. Have you tried the "Ridge Challenge" map? It offers a dynamic layout that allows for various tactical approaches. Check it out and see if it adds a new layer of excitement.

Never seen this Ridge Challenge. Is it an original map? Or player-made? Really new to me. Thanks
