That's awesome. Keep it up !!!!

I hope anti-aircraft guns like Flak 88 are able to hit direct fire as in reality it was sometimes the best anti-tank gun in many theatres of war from Africa to the USSR.)

I am preparing my armory for a DLC 39 (no not Germany again...) because the vanilla equipment file is not practicable to work with.

How to make this all work and come together? This means i had to make some (hard) choices. Free Polish units will be under the flag of Poland, Free French under the flag of France. To make unit upgrades possible this is the only way i can think of for making the upgrade of 1939 Polish and 1939/40 French units possible. The independant Czech brigade will be represented by the hero Karel Svoboda. The hero units are all non purchase but they will be receiving upgrades (see above), through a trigger in the scenario, at a given time.
There will be 4 main nations for the player: - Poland, France, UK and USA (in that order). It will be the discretion of the player which core units to field in any given mission (call it freedom of play); if i am not mistaken how the scenario editor works, it will not be possible to purchase for example US units in Poland 1939.
There is still a lot of work to be done in my armory but i believe soon everything will be in place to create the first part.
I try to keep things as much as historical as possible. If there are any wishes or ideas for DLC 39, now is the time and i will take them under consideration.

Every campaign has a beginning...

September 1938. Europe teeters on the edge of war. Germany prepares Fall Grün — the planned invasion of Czechoslovakia. Lieutenant Colonel Karel Svoboda commands a frontier brigade near Eger, where artillery duels and border skirmishes flare while diplomats negotiate in Munich. When orders to withdraw finally arrive, his men have already proven that Czechoslovakia was ready to fight.

Headquarters, Eger Sector – September 30, 1938

Germany is mobilizing along our western frontier. While diplomats bargain in Munich, Wehrmacht columns mass on the border.
Lieutenant Colonel Karel Svoboda and his men stand ready in the bunkers near Eger. If they cross, we will resist. Prague speaks of peace, but every soldier here knows what it means to surrender without a fight.
Hold the line. The fate of Czechoslovakia may be decided before a single shot is fired.

Hey Game Enthusiasts.

I am almost done with The Polish Campaign...I have always loved the Polish Campaign and the French Campaign...

Does anyone know any great books about some of the less known battles, especially the ones covered by Nico...

I always want stories/ details on battles that went right for the Allies in early war. I think these were obviously learning opportunities for both combatants, but always feel like they are not covered well, like the late war stuff is.

Does anyone know great books on early war battles?

Please getting close to my birthday and Christmas

Thanks

I can get it for about $16 with shipping and handling on Amazon

Any thoughts? I am looking for a deeper dive on some of the Polish battles that are not covered or that our flawed in their coverage,

Hello Nico,
I’ve now reached “Arras Counterattack” in your French campaign. I’m not progressing as quickly as others — I like to explore different campaigns in between and also work on some of my own projects.
I really enjoy your campaign; it’s refreshing and quite a change of pace to lead the Allied forces through these missions.
All the best, Tobi
