Re: Campaigns for Modern Conflicts
Here’s a version from me. Please don’t forget that I’m not an expert or specialist in unit modding. Some units take me a whole day or even two to make, and the result still isn’t perfect.
May I ask what you’re planning to do with it?

Say, gif files can also be inserted into the mod in place of simple pictures (yes, the folder of pictures will increase in size, but who can be frightened by this now who owns unlimited traffic) !?!? I just remembered the mod Pazifik Korps about the war in Japan and there were pictures that moved )

I remember that too, even though it’s been a long time. I think the lips and eyes were moving. Those GIFs are probably in the UI folder of the Pacific Mod.
Are you planning to get into modding?

Honestly, I can’t quite follow you. Am I supposed to model an AN-2 now or watch a movie? I really need to find a better translation program — or you should stop giving me so many riddles in foreign languages. I need to understand the connection between the AN-2, a movie on Netflix, and the GIFs from the Pacific Mod. Please enlighten me.

I'm just interested in you as a more savvy person in the technical plan of this game) And so the Germans also have funny jokes

Not any riddles just I satisfy my curiosity no more ) For example is it possible to insert gifs in the briefing instead of boring photos for example from some film or game !

Re: Campaigns for Modern Conflicts
I can’t answer that question at the moment, since I haven’t dealt with GIFs in the game yet. It would be a small innovation if short clips were shown in the briefing instead of static images.
As far as I know, there are also GIF files included in the Pak Mod.

In pak mod I have not once met them although I do not exclude the possibility that I did not pay attention ! There are great pictures in the option to buy your own units )
Yes it could be quite cool and not usual than sheets of dull text )

Well, it works — I inserted a GIF from the Pak Mod into a briefing of one of Nico’s campaigns.

Re: Campaigns for Modern Conflicts
My campaign "Wars in the Shadows" is available for download. It’s played from the German side, is fictional, and consists of 10 missions.

Re: Campaigns for Modern Conflicts
Well, I hope the campaign doesn’t get too boring for you, since a few of the scenarios — just with different nations — might already be familiar. These first ten missions are part of my larger campaign; their main purpose was to establish a solid core force with heroes before moving on to Africa and Afghanistan.
So don’t be surprised by the somewhat unusual ending of this campaign — I’ve smoothed it out a bit and made a few adjustments.

That’s the problem when you’re rebuilding an existing campaign — you tend to forget a few things here and there or overlook certain details.

Top secret telegram for Mr Toby 72 ! When we started to help the Albanians we came across that this Albanian unit has no picture and visually it is not visible, which leads to a crash and it is impossible to continue the game ! I hope that this problem will be solved soon !
P.s. For one thing in your fic you can insert pictures in the purchase menu German mortar 120mm and btr 113 UN forces

Re: Campaigns for Modern Conflicts
Thanks for the tip — I probably either forgot the unit itself or its assignment. I’ll check and fix the problem.
