Nijis (Khorasanian) defeats ChrisTownsend (Ghaznavids) 54-28.

This was one by the closest of margins. The two sides clashed on a small plain with hills on either side. Both sides' infantry corps, led by fierce Dailamites, prevailed on their respective right winds while cavalry and elephants fought swirling battles in the cramped arena in the middle. When the infantry wheeled around to contest the center, the Khorasanians had the advantage, but the Ghaznavids came with a hair's breadth of routing them before the end.

I've lightened these images, dark models on a dark Northern European map with similiar banners is a pain in the arse and I really don't like playing on them. Why these maps are so dark is beyond me, surely Europe in summer can be bright?

The two lines lock and that was pretty much it, Lady Luck did her thing and it was over.

The lines lock and for a moment I was confident, looking good on the left, looking good on the right and causing problems in the centre. Then a cohesion explosion on the Byzantine right and it devolved into another chaotic arm wrestle.


A series of pyhrric victories and eventually the Byzantines fall over the line.
