Last turn I made a picture to show to an ally.
Castile is controlling the region and has a 17 strength army there, my army wants to move in and solve the problem.
In the replay of last turn I see this
As if I moved in and destroyed the much bigger army that I actually encountered El Kef last turn, and not in Bizerte.
And there is no combat in Bizerte this turn, we didn't make peace or anything, its just an alternative reality.
After replay I checked and the again and it looks like it was the same units destroyed.
Show previous turn set to on.
Minor bugs/features:
The order of the battle report is reversed.
The numbering of the units contains several copies of the same name, bad unit generation name or pointer to wrong unit in the alternative reality? (I don't think Gribol bothered to rename the all to 1. Slingers).
If Gribol could comment on what he saw.

There are 10 kind of hard problems in computer science, naming, cache invalidations and off-by-one errors.

Also the 3 announced Kel XXX insurrections didn't happen.

Re: Reality error in Multiplayer Expanded game
I'm so sorry, but that was last turn and I don't remember it clearly.
I was probably retreating from that province anyway – it's possible it has something to do with those reports.
Unfortunately, I don't read them. If an army dies, it dies; that's what happens in war. And even more so in a virtual one.

Re: Reality error in Multiplayer Expanded game
The relevant turn you had occupied a region in Tunis and had a small army there, so I send an army to retake it, but when I saw the replay neither was there ... oh well.gribol wrote: ↑Sat Oct 11, 2025 4:54 pm I'm so sorry, but that was last turn and I don't remember it clearly.

It more important that the game engine fixes this.

That would require you to return the region too, which I am pretty sure you didn't do.gribol wrote: ↑Tue Oct 14, 2025 4:28 amPropably because i flee from Tunis to the see.Surt wrote: ↑Sun Oct 12, 2025 9:53 amThe relevant turn you had occupied a region in Tunis and had a small army there, so I send an army to retake it, but when I saw the replay neither was there ... oh well.gribol wrote: ↑Sat Oct 11, 2025 4:54 pm I'm so sorry, but that was last turn and I don't remember it clearly.

Same game again now in turn 127
When we planned the downfall of the Castillians
From the replay note the 0% now there suddenly is a Castilian army there again ...
and apparently Gribol has another reality ...

Re: Reality error in Multiplayer Expanded game
Perhaps I should pay attention to these detailed reports.
My army fought someone and suffered heavy losses, and then I probably sent it somewhere. Either way, it certainly still exists.
The problem with recognizing such errors is that if we don't both keep track of it on an ongoing basis (and I don't), it's difficult to compare the results later.

Re: Reality error in Multiplayer Expanded game
There are OOS issues in MP, and I’ve checked everything but can’t see where they come from. I’ve asked for better profiling tools to find the cause. Until then, unfortunately, there’s not much that can be done.
