Old/renewed Tyller's games question

Hi all,
Maybe this question has already been asked:
I own the old (CDs) versions of battleground collection (Napoleon's), close combat 3, Eastern front (not sure 1 or 2) ardennes offensive etc
Do the renewed versions add anything more than new operative systems compatibility?
