PANZER CORPS DAY 2025 TOURNAMENT Seroius Problems

Post by AirborneBob »

I am concerned that after nearly a week into the tourney, there are no scores posted. Coupled with my opponent not submitting any turns, I am left to wonder if anyone else is in this situation? Have there been turns submitted and is there ongoing games being conducted? :!:

Excuse Me!... I'm not a "Multi-Player" Individual, however... i see and feel your plight!. I Suggest that someone or someone's from your "Cabal or Community" set up a "Gaming Co-ordinator" to Manage these affairs such as setting up tournaments, posting stats... etc.

Good morning,

unfortunately this happens often!!At least real life takes precedence and of course it's just a game, but it's frustrating in a tournament when your opponent simply stops playing!!

It often happens that you are just reaching your breakthrough and your opponent realizes that they can no longer win and just gives up because, well, it's no longer fun! Unfortunately, I always experienced this when I played with a friend, where my game crashed after a certain round and I couldn't finish the match, but I made sure to let him know so he was aware of the issues!! So far, this has never happened in a tournament; it really depends on the players!! A good alternative would be for a timer to run in the background, and if the opponent hasn't made a move after 24 or 72 hours, the game counts as a loss for them!! Or, it would also be nice to have an option to resign, as is done in regular pair games! Although I am in favor of the timer, as I believe it would save a lot!

Viele Grüße

Looking forward to this second round. I am totally not disappointed by getting ZERO points for completely destroying my opponent's army in 14 turns in both matches. And the offered solutions sound so hopeful.. Darn, I am having so much fun... Eagerly starting the next round, what could go wrong?

This is Slitherine PC2 tournaments for you in the nutshell.
1 You get only one tournament per year and you can be 100% sure there will be errors with points in every one of them.
2 Discord and forum are read only by new players. No manager is reading this and noone gives a s****.

But don't worry, just buy next DLC.

Yes was winning opponent didnt play any more and I get get zero points. In other games If opponent quits you get full points. They need to change the scoring system in this tournament.
I guess there is no use to play round 2.

In the first round, I had both games won, both English and Italian. My opponent had no troops left and no way to reinforce as they had no supply points. I don't understand why I am given 0 points.

Thats very sad to listen, well i understand the frustration!!! Mine opponent stoped playing when he lost the possibility to win!!
It´s also true that the pointing system is not really good working, but i think they read what we write, and like everywhere it´s a problem of people and time!! A day has only 24 hours and when you do not have enough people working on it will need time!!

But yes the pointing system should be more simple and with a timer running in the back, so if you do not play, you give up!!

Hola!!
Paciencia!!!

A timer would be a no-brainer for PBEM. But if they miss a turn after a certain time, they should just skip the turn. But if you skip 3 turns, then the game forfeits. Because sometimes something does come up and you can't play for a day, but multiple days is another thing. And also, it is a tournament, so it should be taken a little more seriously, even though this really is just for fun and bragging rights. Yeah the $60 is nice to buy a game, but I doubt anybody who play turn based strategy games are hurting for money.

My last opponent gave me a good game and played all the rounds. But this time my opponent is MIA for Round 2. Now I see that both of us will lose because of it and I'll probably only get my 12 points.
