Re: Sengoku Jidai Invitation tournament
I rolled a five this time
Also remembered to change my name in the dice rolling app!
Edit : whomp whomp, looking at the map, seems that puts me in last place!

We'll have to wait for the result of your game before I can move you on Fabian... how's it going?

Re: Sengoku Jidai Invitation tournament
The long wait is over...
My Hojo somehow defeated Fabian's valiant Takeda, 61-44. I went for plenty of cavalry while Fabian, an infantry officer himself, went for a formidable line of spearmen. Two tidy lines descended into the chaos of one big swirling melee, with unforeseen flank attacks occurring every turn. I think the difference between us was the mobility and extra moves of my cavalry.
Thanks, Fabian, for a tough game!

Re: Sengoku Jidai Invitation tournament
Congrats and commiserations to you each in turn. We can now move on to turn 6 with Sean leading and awaiting an opponent, Brian hot on his heels, followed by Alan, who jumps into third place after his recent victory, myself and Mark tied in fourth equal, and Fabian breathing down their necks.ahuyton wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 5:41 pm The long wait is over...

This sixth round will hopefully see some big die rolls for some exciting large battles on the horizon. Good luck to all!

Sean and have a large battle to start. I'll choose pot luck opponent Sean (just to suprise myself!) You may set it up Alan and Brian also have a large, pot luck terrain battle and need to choose their list.

Re: Sengoku Jidai Invitation tournament
Sandals? Sandals!
Luxury!
In my day we could only dream of sandals, we would march 14 hours a day down at the mill wearing nothing more than soggy noodle boxes ... and we luved it!
Re: Sengoku Jidai Invitation tournament
Gavin, I will stick with Hojo 1575-86.
Brian has some pc problems but I will get in touch with him.
