You could well be right about the challenge from Egmont. Looking back to the start of challenge thread Egmont was due to post one to me as well ( heavy type 'H') no sign of it. Confession time only realised the above, after seeing your enquiry.
The Great One will have to adjudicate ... after he's sent in his turn for our ongoing titanic tussle

Here's the answer to my mistake: I was only checking if a name was in bold, not if it had an A or an H on its side!
Anyway, my army has now moved back to Epirus, to repair the huge casualities suffered in the past battles. So I will send against you my Greek ally, hoping he will do his best.
As soon as you will tell me your army choice I will set the battle up!

Both armies had the fortune of meeting on an open field, with the greek host screened with javelin skirmishers and the Ptolemaic doing the same though skirmishers canted off to the right, overlapping the greeks.. as both main armies moved up steadily the skirmishers met in the center.. Ptolemaic cavalry pressed forward and managed to tear into the skirmish line causing chaos. When both armies met, they gradually pressed into engagement but with the greek losses mounted high from their skirmishers, the Ptolemaic host found itself victorious! (9-44)

rpadilla (PTO) v ironclad is complete (MAC) - (PTO) wins 15-40

Damn good battle with Macedon starting with superior positioning.. after a heated skirmish grapple both belligerent detachments were left battered, though inconclusive; the Ptolemaic army was forced to scramble for a counter that resulted in a mad dash with medium troops to high ground on the PTO right.. battle spanned all across the map. GG Ironclad!
