Slitherine Tournament Stat's

I'm in the process of putting all the Slitherine tournament data into a spreadsheet for my own amusement. I've finished ancients and starting in on medieval. Once I get everything sorted to my satisfaction, I'll see about posting the results here. I think I'll need some advice about how to set up/import tables, as a jpg I captured turned out to be too big to allow posting. If worse comes to worse, I'll just share it via Google Drive.

Here are the top 125 in Ancients based on my sorting as a sample - which does just fit the size limits.

G = Gold, 1st place finishes
S = Silver, 2nd place finishes
B = Bronze, 3rd place finishes
P% = Percentage of games finishing with a medal
Av% = The average % finish based on taking the top score of the event as 100% and dividing your score into that.
AvRk = The average rank
AvSc = The average score per game
Part% = Percentage of events joined
Events = Number of tournaments entered
Games = Number of games played
Score = Total of score from all events
Rank = Total of rank from all events
% = Total of percentile rank from all events
ELO = Slitherine ELO

It's taken from Slitherine tournament pages. As mentioned this is only the top 100; there are almost 1100 players altogether.

Ah, I obviously don't watch enough Olympics to work that out.

Minor quibble, slightly embarrassed to even mention it but I will anyway since it's just for laughs. Looking at my multiplayer profile for ancients I have two gold and one bronze. One of those golds being the draw with Tyronec Carthage 2023.

Ah, I see; good point. Due to the volume of data, I simply copied and pasted what Slitherine posted, which caused my formula to miss that as you were number two on the list.

Looking very briefly, there are clearly a number of cases where people with the same score are ranked in the order Slitherine posted them in the results.

I will see if I can correct that with further tinkering, with the aid of ChatGPT, when I have time.
