The game system, if both reach 60 on the same final turn its considered a draw! If you tie scores in the tournament the following are used (in that order):
1) League Points 2): Points Difference 3) Head to Head
Moderators: kronenblatt, Field of Glory 2 Tournaments Managers
Sounds like fun to me as well.jaerho wrote: ↑Thu Jul 17, 2025 10:41 pm It would be a little different, but an alternative arrangement for the tournament could be four regions, each consisting of three diadochi and one revolt army, with the winner of each region making the playoff. For example, the Egyptian region could be Ptolemy, Laomedon, Perdiccas, and the Kyrenean Greeks. This format seems fun to me because you get to prove you can beat your rivals and put down the locals.
Really good suggestion jaerho!jaerho wrote: ↑Thu Jul 17, 2025 10:41 pm A few quick notes from a peculiar perspective.
Given that the Army list was Greek with no Macedonian Pikes, I played it as Leosthenes, leader of the leader of the Greek revolt, instead of Leonnatus, the diadochi who died fighting the revolt.
Curiously, the biggest challenge in playing against the Macedonian armies wasn't that fighting the pikes, pinning, and flanking with a longer infantry line worked reasonably well, but rather the lack of cavalry in the Greek list.
Lastly, because I knew I was playing an army with Phalanx the whole time, I had a different conception of the tournament. I viewed the tournament as a combination of the Wars of the Diadochi and the revolts the diadochi had to contend with. The Kyrenean Greeks, the Persians in Cappadocia, and others revolted against the diadochi.

All that said, I had a ton of fun. Thanks for running the tournament.
