Re: Panzer Corps Day 2025 - Recap
WOW. Will have to watch the whole thing but those upcoming linked campaigns sure look tasty.
Re: Panzer Corps Day 2025 - Recap
Based on the video the team that was responsible Frontlines - Cyrenaica is doing the allied DLC in Italy. Hopefully with some lessons learned we will see tighter scripting with fewer bugs, but most importantly some limits on the overpowered hero combinations as it was getting out of hand in Cyrenaica by the end. Aside from this, I'm quite optimistic about what the team can achieve with this addon, because the overall map design was really good.
Re: Panzer Corps Day 2025 - Recap
They're Italian and studious so they should know the campaign pretty well.
Re: Panzer Corps Day 2025 - Recap
I'm not concerned about the maps, detailed showcasing of historical details or the campaign overall, as these things were proven and well executed by the team already. I just hope they address some concerns about the effect hero oversaturation had on gameplay in Cyrenaica and also do a bit more detailed testing of scripts (to my knowledge that DLC never got patched unless something happened in the background that was not part of a full announced version change).

Did you play it post-release? A lot of issues were addressed in the released version (possibly not all).Tassadar wrote: ↑Sat Jul 12, 2025 10:01 pmI'm not concerned about the maps, detailed showcasing of historical details or the campaign overall, as these things were proven and well executed by the team already. Yes, it was after the release - nothing preventing me from playing, but I had missing heroes, incorrect core slot count and some other script bugs probably related to enemy reinforcement spawns. Some of these as far as I've seen on people's playthroughs happened to them also, so the scripting for sure needs some extra attention.Trenchard wrote: ↑Sun Jul 13, 2025 4:13 amDid you play it post-release? Re: Panzer Corps Day 2025 - Recap
i didn't encounter any of that post-release. Seems like beta was a bit brief, maybe that would have helped.
Watched the vid. These campaigns sound quite interesting. Linked campaigns all seem to be in threes. I hope these, and the Elite campaigns, have enough scenarios. I mostly liked Ghost Division but there weren't enough scenarios to depict the action with any depth, it felt more like a highlight reel than a campaign.

I was a bit surprised by some of the projects they announced. Soviet and U.S. campaign? Not surprising. China and Japan? Yes! Of course we will see how they turn out, but I like their ambitiousness in trying new countries far beyond just Germany, UK, U.S., and USSR. They mentioned in the video that it features more linked campaigns because that's what the playing public has repeatedly asked for...so I guess they were listening but just rarely responding to our posts leaving us hanging and wondering if they were.
Re: Panzer Corps Day 2025 - Recap
Well, Slitnerine acts way more careful, in the matter of announcing stuff after that Pacific DLC backfired hard. There are still people complaning and sometimes trolling about "no pacific DLC". And ok it is sad, that there wont be a Pacific, but sometimes stuff dont workout that way it was intended.
So i think, Slith is now really carefull what they announce and when.
And tbh, the missing teatimes are an issue here (i really miss teatimes...)
2 Years ago, there would have been the chance to ask Marco live on stream "are there plans for more linked campaigns for PC2 ?", and im pretty sure he had answered that.
On topic: Im really hyped for the Japan Elite Series and that Chinese campaign.
