Save in the middle of a turn?

Hello,

Doing my first run through of Empires as Macedonia, I am enjoying it! I am close to turn 200 and decided to take on my rival Rome head on to get it over with lol. I am currently about 2.1X higher on Legacy points.

However, I have started to invasion of the Roman mainland- with many battles being exported to FoG2 (which is very fun by the way). I am running into the problem of fighting 3-7 of these battles on a given turn. Sometimes a turn can take 2-3 hours!

Is there anyway to stop in the middle of a turn/save? Maybe once the game is exported, can I close out all the games and just pick up in FoG2 when I'm ready for the battle? Or close out after the battle and import it when I have more time? Thanks!

You can save in empires part, but that is not what your asking?

Once I click end turn,and if I have to fight a bunch of battles that are exported to fog2, does the game save after each battle if I need tk go and cant sit through all the battles in one sitting?

It closes the game down if you fight a battle in FoG, so it must be saving it somewhere

I don't know about multiple battles per turn, but, I will often do a single Empires battle in FOG2 and usually don't want to complete the battle at that time. So, I will open the battle in FOG2 then press the escape key to bring up the main menu and save the battle for later time. Later, I load the saved game, complete the battle and go back into Empires.
