After the shambolic performance of the Holy Order Knights in the first outing against the barbarian Scots a threat of excommunication helped the Order to a victory against the Kiel heavy Germans. This largely involved running away from the Kiels and taking out those less powerful than ourselves but this will be glossed over.

Faced with endless quantities of archers much of it mounted, the Portuguese sensibly hid in a wood and tried to keep to the rough ground. An increasingly bad situation convinced the Portuguese to abandon caution and charge everything they could reach. I had enough luck to survive the advance to contact and then the knights played their usual tune on the bodies of their enemies. The infantry played their part very well. Massed archers did very well against armoured lancers in open ground. Rallied and shot everything to death.
