new dlc question

Post by jnpoint »

Will the new dlc with all those new nations, units and buildings also have new music/sound that fits with Africa and Indian subcontinent?

We have added 50 new sounds, many applying to new buildings, but there is no new music.

You can always google/ask AI for links to the 24/7 Medieval themed music broadcast or find appropriate playlists.

We love working with composers when we can afford to! Music is still costly—I don't have exact figures, as it's not my role to negotiate prices, but it often runs into several hundred euros, and can go over 800 for a 3-minute piece with exclusive rights, even for an indie title.

Considering that most players disable the music rather quickly and switch to their own playlists, the same budget can often be better spent on features or extra content (incl. sounds).

That said, we’ve made sure the ambient soundscape remains rich enough to support immersion, even without dedicated music tracks.
