Kroche (Carthaginian 490-411BC) defeats nyczar (Syracusan 412-281BC) 17-46

Syracuse pushed down their left with lights and cavalry. Carthaginians moved forces to counter as the centre lines met. The Carthaginian left (a bit weaker with some medium foot) and Syracusan right were both acting as flank protectors and did not get into melee until a bit later. Carthage got the better rolls in the centre to take control there, which allowed sufficient forces to be deployed to halt and then counter attack into the Syracuse left. Carthaginian left was pretty smashed up and scattered, but the centre capitalised on good melee rolls to win the match there. GG
