Smolensk 41 has no prestige reward on any of the flags. Is this intentional?

gw15 wrote: Thu Apr 17, 2025 3:24 pm Edit: my saves do go to a document folder on the C drive but that's all.
The 'Mods' folder is adjacent to your 'Saves' folder.
You must create the folder, before you use it. The game does not automatically create the Mods directory.

Note: Both Steam and Slitherline installs can use the same Mods directory, but
Steam has a workshop option that allows Steam to use it's own 'Mods' directory without user needing to know where things go.
I really thank everyone's help, but the game still doesn't recognize any mods. I added the Mod folder next to the Saves on the C drive and put PanzerCorps1 files there. Game can't find it. I can't imagine why this is so difficult to do this. There must be some trick. Is my mistake installing it on the D drive? Again, why does my installed game have a different path to the files than others?
Can anyone point me to specific instructions on where you put Mods (why the game doesn't create the folder is a mystery too) that work?
If the programmer is reading these posts will you please tell me what to do.

The Mac directory is easier to follow.
And the Directory is called 'Mods' , not 'Mod'

I was trying to fix it myself. However when saving the Scenario I get a crash upon loading freshly into the game. I guess I have to somehow link the script or custom rule sets? Can you outline how to do it?
Thanks.

if u open the scenario on ur computer u remove all the custom units from the map. If one of those units is adressed in the LUA the game will crash when trying to start the scenario.

u need to add the unit.csv that comes with the mod to the unit.csv the game uses. the editor will not add the modded units from the mod before loading.

I see. It seems like that I need to update the editor equipment.pzeqp, yes? However the format of the Units.csv from the mod is somewhat different, so it seems there is no (automated) reversible way from Units.csv -> equipment.pzeqp, or?

Would you mind sharing the modded equipment.pzeqp as well?

no, that file is only needed when u move scenarios from pc1 to pc2. all u need to do is add the units.csv that comes with the mod to the units.csv in the games data folder.

Stalingrad Docks 42:
The minefield protecting the airfield in the north-east is cleared on turn one and the airfield is captured on turn two.
Is this intentional? Even if you would have Paratroopers I see little possibility to protect the field. Given that you basically need this field to start bombing the ships ... not sure what's the idea here...

Turn 3 without moving any units, minefield still intact.

So you are saying it is based on luck and I need to try again?

Just tried again. It seems always happening. On first enemy turn, one infantry walks into the mines which brings it down to four strength, another infantry comes and finishes the job and flak is exposed.

In Rostov43 (1943 NH), is it intentional that there is no random hero being given? The 1000/3000/5000 is not firing and there is also no commendation event which would explain this. Or is this due to the Panthers later on?

In rostov43(NH1943) u will get at least Otto Carius in a Panther, even when ur resources are near 0. That´s why there is no random hero, yes.

If i remember correctly u can potentially go below 0 prestige, which is something i will likely adress in a future patch, but it is nothing i consider urgent.

Since it never happens to me, i would asume this is due to ur difficulty settings. If u ramp up the difficulty, events will go haywire sometimes, since only the enemy AI gets the bonuses and not ur Aux units/friendly AI.
Imo a bad decision by the devs, but nothing i can change with the current game access.

No worries. I restarted and left the top-left airfield empty so that I could evacuate all planes except one from the airfield under pressure on turn 1.
I guess it was still more difficult then designed as I could not put pressure on the boats but at least like this the planes were not completely useless.
