Re: Cheat codes
Sometimes it feels very exhilarating and wonderful to just blow the enemy off of the face of the earth in these games.

Re: Cheat codes
Sometimes? When the AI aggression setting is high enough, it's always WONDERFUL seeing the enemy units getting blown up and "self-destruct" in one of my AT-traps...

Re: Cheat codes
i thought there was a cheat for undoing a move, like when you accidentally move a unit and want to go back, am i not seeing it?

uran21 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 3:12 pm Take a note there is a new tool for testing. #instakill cheat code will enable you to kill a unit with a single shot without making damage to your own unit (unless the supportive fire is included). It works the same during AI turn but you can use #instakill off then or better just disable the AI altogether. It reduced the time needed to test various conditions and particular objectives.

Thanks again to uran21, who mentioned it in a Tech Support thread [reproduced above]. It really facilitates testing combat kill triggers in a fraction of the time it took before (if they even would have been tested before, that is).
Done! Plus, I took the opportunity to update the list of Cheat Codes in the opening post as well as adding clarifications and comments where helpful.terminator wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 6:17 am This post should be added to the Cheat Codes Stickie (viewtopic.php?f=264&t=64128)![]()

Re: Cheat codes
I could have sworn there was a cheat to increase/decrease experience for units. Am I wrong?

I'm the same, I'll boost a unit to 20 hit points so I can get an advantage so I can actually play a full mission in the very little free time I have as a father and husband with a demanding job that in our busy times means working 7 days a weeks for 3 to 4 months every year.dijonace wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2015 4:48 pmYes we do. Thank you for your balanced response.Loki1942 wrote:Game isnt released yet and all some can think about is how to cheatwell, we all play differently i suppose
I'm married with 2 very active kids. Any gaming time I have is very condensed at best.
It annoy TF outta me when anyone even COMMENTS about the use of cheats. Talk about busybodies with no lives of their own to complain about total strangers they have zero connection with and never will, yet feel obliged to tell them how and how not to play a video game?!?
Nah, nah, nah m8, get yourself sorted if you feel the need to criticize how people play VIDEO GAMES FFS!
Thank you for your post, though, I'm not as nice as you, obviously, but you pointed out that not all of us have a ton of time for gaming, and these little boost allows us to be able play without a mission taking months to win. So, yeah!
Re: Cheat codes
using the word cheat code is a double edged sword, while some consider it as is mentioned, others call it a tool to be used or not, i myself use many tools to alter, change or manipulate a given point to make something easier or harder to suit the needs of the person playing, and tbh if you've bought it, then it's your call to do as you feel fit to do and not for someone else to consider your choices or opinions any better or worse than anyone else's or there own tbh

In Addition, I have played some Campaigns about 10 times or more trying different things and in doing so playing it yet another time there are some scenarios I am well, sick of, so its great to be able to "skip" the scenario by doing an instant win which allows me to continue to enjoy the campaign...
