Finished SCW - No traits window

Post by Inishfree »

I just successfully completed the SCW DLC for the 1st time.
After the Victory screen I got the pop up for "Do you want to import" for the next DLC 1939.

I said yes and the game loaded right to the Czech Map and Briefing.

My Core is there safe and sound, but I didn't get the option to select Traits.
Its actually fine because I was just going to leave them the same. But my issue is that when I mouse over the German Icon on the top right of the screen...it always used to show all the Traits you have active good and bad.
When I do that now in the Deployment phase it is not showing any Active Traits. Just as if I hadn't selected any.

I did a test end deployment and started the map and still no Traits showing and I was not asked to select.

Any idea what went wrong or how to fix? I definitely don't want to start 1939 with no Traits.

Thanks

Try starting the 1939 campaign from main screen then, sounds like something about inheriting the trait list has gone wrong.

If you go directly into the next dlc your traits carry over.

Instead save your core, exit and start next dlc, and import.

Then you get the trait screen.

I was able to load 1939 as a New Scenario and it allowed for Trait selection.
There is a glitch with the auto import right from SCW tho. I redid the final turn and the same effect happens.
It takes me to 1939 with no traits. If I had to guess I'd say that for my 1st SCW at a higher Diff Level I gave myself a few extra points above the 2 defaults. That might be disrupting the import.

Thanks for the help.

It's not a glitch. It's how it's designed. Weird, but by design.
