Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector | Message for console's players

We are aware of issues that players have been experiencing when playing Battlesector on consoles. We are really sorry, as a dev team, that your enjoyment of the game is being interrupted like this.

Since taking over the development of Battlesector in early 2024, our teams here at Slitherine have been working hard to get to grips with a large and complex codebase. We are very comfortable now with operating all the tools that we have brought over from Black Lab Games, but there are nuances to how the game manages memory on Consoles that we have not yet solved.

Right now, we have our engineers dedicated to the issue of how Battlesector is managing its game assets so that we can ensure that stability is restored on all platforms, and, as a company, we are investing in new tools and dedicating our senior staff to focussing on this area.

Hi. Thanks for acknowledging your game is broken. I bought it a few days ago on PS4 and after the first hours of enjoyment it's just crash after crash. Shame on you. I'm playing on a PS4 in 2025 because I'm not rich and video games are not on the top of my to buy list. But when I buy a brand new product I expect it to be working.
Don't tell me no testers warned you about these issues. As soon as an army is worth more than 1500pts the game crashes for **** [Mod: keep it clean please] sake.
I'm sure you worked hard on this game, and I can tell you are true fans of this franchise, but your company decided to release a game, knowing that it doesn't work yet.
A french YouTuber invented a character named David Goodenough. Go check that on Yt, I'm sure it's your boss.
How do I proceed to get a refund? I may buy it again when it's patched but for now I want my money back.

At least they have finally acknowledged there is a problem and looking to fix it. Looks like the main issue is they have inherited the code from the previous developer. Game on ps5 and 4 definitely became unplayable around the tau dlc release so something in that update completely broke planetary supremacy and the chaos invasion game mode. There was always some issues on playstation from the start with units spawing under the map on planetary supremacy but you could play it. I finished a few planetary supremacy games to the end with varoius factions. After TAU though it crashes non stop.

Hopefully they get a fix out soon it's a great game.

I agree, it seems to be a great game. Unplayable though... My point being: the game is unplayable/unsellable, so why do they sell it anyway?

I'm a roofer. When I build and sell a roof upon a house, I don't get to say to the client "hey, I know the brand new roof you bought from me is leaking from everywhere, but it's because of the former roofer , please be informed that I am fully aware of the situation and that I'm currently working on this issue. And hey I mean, c'mon, can we all agree that if it wasn't leaking from everywhere it would be a pretty dope roof?"

Glad to see you acknowledge the problems and the unplayable state of the game. Really happy you're working to fix it and allocating resources accordingly.

It has been deeply frustrating to not be able to play Battlesector. It's my favourite Warhammer game (Yes, I enjoy it more than Space Marine 2) and having invested money into many of the DLCs (Necrons for life) that frustration has been amplified.

This post gives me hope for the future. I am very pleased to see you finally talk about the challenges. Please update us regularly

So I'm pretty upset right now. In full knowledge that I wouldn't be able to play the game, why have you allowed me to purchase the game and DLC? A month ago you acknowledged the game doesn't work but it's still in the PlayStation store. Why?
This is shocking behaviour, what are you going to give us in compensation?
