No such a number of shilokas and stingers + tanks and artillery with aviation can only envy the enemies ( AI just overwhelms the meat ))).

Since I assumed that the player would send many highly decorated hero units and about 3-4 bonus elite units in his battle formation into the battles, I thought that the opponent must be able to hold his ground, otherwise it would be a boring parade. Besides, you don't just want to fight against infantry, but also against different, stronger enemy units.

But so far the shooting rate of the Strela unit has remained within moderate limits in my opinion. They are annoying but not overpowered units.

Everything is good in moderation ) When the mujahideen turn into a horde with modern equipment cooler than the regular army it looks too fantastic and utopian )

Anyway, I finished this mission with a cheat and added my own moves because it's a funny situation, I don't have enough troops and moves because guerrillas are cloned at the speed of light growing out of nowhere ) Let's play on !When I become as cool as Toby I will pass this king of the mountain honestly )))))

The advantage lies with the author who has created his missions and knows them. That's why I had a slightly different strategy and a bit more prestige.

And if you had eliminated the two weapon smugglers right at the beginning, there would have been fewer enemies. That was a hint at the beginning of the mission. I had sent my tactical bombers out in search of them and were the first to take them out. This is because when the smugglers reach the depots, they set off a trigger that causes more enemies to appear. :idea:

In Orgun, you also have to destroy the rebels' siege artillery, just for your information. But this mission should be easier again.

Well I continue and I hope ahead of me waiting for real interesting tasks and not chasing donkeys through the mass hordes of spirits or even more cloned enemies will pile up )))

And this is not grumbling but a full-fledged criticism of the average player ) Well, maybe there are some god-like strategists here, but I haven't reached such professional heights of exterminating clones by dozens yet )))

I still passed this mission honestly that I was trampled in the next inexhaustible Afghan hordes ) If you look at my statistics I have already destroyed more than 440 only infantry units in addition to that a whole coda of different branches of troops, which recently began to consist of mujahideen special forces and other professionals with which can not cope even with the Gru and KGB + Stingerists who shoot down my aircraft in packs ))))

P.S.
If you are so fond of stuffing AI infantry why don't you make a mini company about this conflict ? )

There has been a pet peeve in the way units spawn and the scenarios are formed, and thats that units spawn out of nothing, meaning that I can be ahead of some units spawning and they ruin a whole army group. I get "ambushes" in the Afghanistan campaign, however the same happened in other scenarios which make it off putting to me. I do enjoy what you are doing but thats an annoyance I have found. A method I am quite fond of is what Sonja did in her mods, and its to have aircraft spawn in a corner at set turns while all of the ground army is pre placed on the map and set to move and attack in certain conditions depending on the situation. Thats my personal view some others might think different. It becomes a nuisance of being cautious of an enemy you cannot see and dont know if it exists

Also did you intend to have many tiles with city graphics be considered a "Desert" tile ie in the 2 Kabul scenarios you have a lot of locations, including primary objectives look like a city tile because of the overlay but are a desert tile in reality.

I did enjoy the adventures in Afghanistan though. I'd also suggest exit hexes in all scenarios to give more freedom to the player as well as more flexibility with exp, ie one part of the campaign is capped at for example 230 exp points, the other at 450 and so on. Just like they do with the Grand Campaign. I have briefly skimmed over the other campaigns so I cannot make any comments on them. Right now I am finishing up the Western front 1917 and after it 1918 in D2R

Well, I tried to implement what I read and how I understood it.
“They came out of nowhere and opened fire.”
“Sometimes a few, sometimes in superior numbers. ”
“They blew up the rock in front and attacked the column from all sides. ”
I'll remove a few of the attackers again on some missions, maybe it'll help.

Yes, that was the intention.In 3 Hoot and Operation Storm, I neglected to label some of the city tiles, e.g. with Kabul (Mea Culpa).I will pay more attention to this in future and not work so sloppily. :lol:

However, it should be noted that this campaign differs from those of previous conflicts and wars. There are no fixed fronts and no armored advances into the depths of the hinterland. The enemies do not come at you head-on and in an orderly fashion.
But I am already in the process of reducing the number of enemies, I will update the link today. Players probably feel the same way with my campaigns as I did with the China campaign where I was overrun by the enemy in mission 4 at the end. :D No problem.
