Division B
principesromanes (Armenian (Tigranes) 83-69 BC with Pontic 84-47 BC allies) defeats FireknightBarcelona (Macedonian 320-261 BC with Greek 280-228 BC allies) 44-13
The armies met on a fairly open plain with a hill, forest and marsh on one side. Seeing the mass of Armenian irregular infantry and light horse, the Macedonians ran for the hills. And all was going well for the Macedonians. They were slowly winning the battle in the woods due to their superior light infantry. And then the Macedonian phalanx got involved, and it all went downhill. Two phalanxes fragmented on impact – one to imitation legionaries but the other one to an irregular foot! And down went a Macedonian general. With the more numerous Armenians already stretching the Macedonian line, fatal holes quickly opened up in the line. The Macedonians made valiant efforts to patch those holes but it just was not to be.
Thanks for a very entertaining game. Not what I expected from fighting a Macedonian army.

Division A
Aetius (Spartan) defeats carpenkm (Antigonid) 55-27
A tough, straight up infantry line fight. The pikes smashed everything when one on one, but luckily for the Spartans some of their better units held until flanks could be hit. GG and thanks for playing!

A nail-biter swinging one way and then the next. I'm very thankful I had the best of the terrain.

Re: TDC VII Dark Ages - Results
Nosferatu (Croatian) wins against Hari72 (German+Magyar) 61:47
The Croatian cavalry on the right rushed to occupy a hill on that flank, but a heavy German cavalry attack repulsed them for the most part. However, this took time and the Croatian left had enough time to flank the enemy on the other side and strike where the Germans were weaker.
Thanks for the game.

Cherebuschka leading the Picts with Scots-Irish allies defeat Nosferatu at the head of a croatian army 61-50
One bloody battle in the open ground flat as far the eyes can see, men on either side would fight long and hard even flanked or perturbed but at that game the picts are slightly better with more men per units !
Thanks for the game and sorry for the late report

Cherebuschka (Baltic Tribes and lithuanian allies) defeat Alexmike1 (Berber (Marinid) with Aragonese) 62-43
He won the cavalry fight, the balts took his infantry and by the time is cavalry came back it was too late, a disputed and very interesting battle.
-----------------------------
Cherebuschka (Baltic Tribes and lithuanian allies) win by forfeit against alexhstandish (Lithuanian with Teutonic Order) but score is 0-0
I don't know why exactly, something about the dice gods hating this fight, maybe the lithuanian on his side saw their brothers with the balts and the threat of their so called teutonic allies.

Cherebuschka with the Cypriots defeat anderarcos11 and his Burgundians 42-13
The burgundian had set a defensive line of longbowmen behind their stake, something that would fend of most assault of a french army, but the Cypriots had very efficient Almogavars which charged between two volleys of arrows from each side, that and a very inspired unit of turcopoles who flanked everything on his path. The longbowmen didn't hold for long, and by the time the burgundian cavalry came into play it was too late, most of their infantry had already fled.
Thank for the game

Rafydedel ancient British + Roman defeats Random27 indian 56-6
Indian elephants and lancers charged ancient British warbands again and again, bouncing unluckily without much success. Ancient British and Roman could give them enough shooting damage in return with their light troops and artillery. Once the stronger Indian units weakened, the rest of the Indian army was no match against my infantry.
