Congratulations to Chris Townsend with a near perfect record and excellent total. ulysisgrunt with a positive win rate and good average in second with rockmanbob looking to get in between with a decent last couple of matches. Well balanced mid table with each having at least 3 wins. Egmont recently got his first victory.

Mejobo's Khazars defeat rockmanbob123's Anglo-Saxons 42-10. A battle over a deep stream through marshy ground near a forest and some hills. Khazar's ability to take a less cavalry heavy force won out here, taking artillery in particular helped the (foot and cavalry) archers soften up some holes on one flank while the swarm of light and medium infantry cleared out the marsh and made the Saxons struggle greatly to push across the river themselves. Well fought, but it is hard to beat a combined arms list with a predominately shieldwall list.

Ok, with a little over a month to go here are the table for the final run in.

Still plenty to play for:
Div A
although Nijis has the lead there are plenty of player with game sin hand and a higher average. Lets make sure those final games are started soon.
Div B
Nosferatus looks to be in a strong position, but there are plenty of players with good averages and games in hand. Anderarcos needs to make sure his games are underway soon.
Div C
Ryiad is in pole position, but as with the other divisions there are other players who could easily mount a challenge.

New battle result - Mejobo's Khazars defeat Egmont's Rus 45 - 17. A fairly open battlefield meant the Khazars went for all cavalry, and then divided the force in two to attack both flanks. The Rus tried to counter attack with cavalry on one flank and light troops in a forest on the other, but arrows dealt with both handily and the overall breakup of the battleline let the horse archers circle around and shoot up or flank the now unsupported heavy infantry.
