ICBM Crashes to desktop / Low frames when time is unfrozen.

Hi,

My friend gave me the game today, and unfortunately, I have run into a couple of issues that are stopping me play the game. First off the game crashes to the desktop very frequently, at first we thought it might have been a save game corruption as rolling back the save made it better. Once we rolled back, and the war began, running the game in active time drops my game down to <10 FPS... attempts to Alt-Tab to check task manager, or to enter the ingame menu cause the game to crash to the desktop.

I have tried Validation, reinstalling, and running as admin as workarounds for now. Ideally want to sort this out before the refund window is up. Let me know how best to send reports as the forum doesn't seem to let me attach.DMP or .txt files...
