Stones1985 (Parthian with Seleucid Allies) beat Klayeckles (Pergamene with Greek Allies) by a score of 45 to 13.

The Parthians light troops proved a real menace forcing the Pergamene/Greek troops to attack a difficult position where the terrain my heavier troops were on was advantageous. Good game. Thanks.

Division B

Cherebuschka leading the Picts with Scots-Irish allies defeat Asterix_von_TWC at the head of the Frankish and Viking army 42-8

The battle was fought in the lowlands near the sea. The two armies deployed on both sides of a large stream. There were also forests and marshes, a perfect ground for the picts. But the Franks fearing nothing choose to fight here despite the heavy ground. The battle was very head on. Before entering the fray the picts washed their feet in the stream, they hurled javelins, stones, arrows and even haggis at the franks (as per the frankish chronicles, we didn't write this). Trying to help their infantry, the noble frankish cavalry tried to charge but found themselves bog down in the marshes and despite their best efforts they were mostly pushed back and greatly disordered. Some got through but it was far too late and the battle was over.

Division A

Cherebuschka leading a coalition of Baltic Tribes and lithuanian defeat Captainwaltersavage at the head of a Castillian/Leonese and Granadine army. 42-16

The Baltic tribes refused to fight on the first field and so fled for a most auspicious battlefield were they awaited the Castillian. The terrain was hilly and full of rough patches which suited perfectly the balts, the castillian had to come which much more lightly armored men. Arrows and bolts were fired in great number but had little effect on the fierce warriors while many granadine crossbow got disturbed. The battle was rapidly a mess with many flanks opportunities for both sides and while the Castillian/Leonese army lost their heart first, the score doesn't show a weakened balt army with many units in precarious situation.

Division A

Cherebuschka with a Cypriots expedition defeat Tyronec who was in charge of the Indian (Muslim) defense 64-29

The map was nice for both armies but the hills easier to take for the Cypriots giving them the edge. The cypriot were met with the flurry of arrows indians are know for and the hail of lead from their cannon but they pushed forward in two group.
In crucial time, the indian elephants turned their back on their army with hardly a fight, the infantry left on their own, arrows dwindling and cavalry delayed, the Indian met their dismise.



Cherebuschka and his Cypriots defeat his mentor random27 who was leading the byzantine (moree) helped by ottoman turkish 63-54

A difficult battle alongside a deep stream in the middle of the plains and as you can tell going by the score, it was a long and difficult battle were we both fought tooth and nail. Random led the first half of the battle and then the Cypriots being quite the resilient army took the lead of the second half. The scores were never far from each other. It was a great fight !

The Abbasids' Dailami infantry resisted the push of the enemy's disciplined veteran spear long enough for an encircling force of armored lancers to come to the rescue.

Good dice in the infantry slog stage of the game seems to have decided the outcome.
