Indibil French 1428-1444 with Scots(continental). BEAT
Rockmanbob123 Milanese 1440 w Florentine
64 - 54 %
Incredible game with an unexpected French victory after the brilliant maneuver of the Milanese Knights. The good position in a rough terrain of French crosbow, the resilience of the French dismounted knights and a good dose of luck were the main reasons. In addition the victory arrived at 24th turn...
Good game Boob and sorry for the luck

alexmike1 Seleucid 166-125 + Parthian 250 BC - 225 AD allies beat Bagatrix1805 Macedonian 260-148 + Greek 227-146 allies 55-29
The Macedonians had the larger phalanx, but the Parthian horse archers on the Seleucid right managed to turn the opposing flank quicker than the Greek allies on the Macedonian right. That usually decides these successor battles and that was the case here. Good game, thanks.

Rockmanbob123 Syro-Canaanites defeated RussellGaredener1964 Assyrians 41-10
The Assyrian Chariots advanced a little too close and into the teeth of a combined force chariot/infantry counterattack that was hidden behind a hill. The Assyrian left crumbled and the left the rest of their army in a vise. The rout soon followed

alexmike1 Berber (Marinid) 1244-1319 with Aragonese 1275-1319 beat alexhstandish Lithuanian 1100-1299 with Teutonic Order 68-51
This one felt like two separate battles. On the Berber right were a range of rough hills in which the lights, archers and Aragonese foot fought the dismounted Lithuanian cavalry. The left side was mostly clear and had the opposing cavalry forces. The key on the right was probably the death of the general leading the Lithuanian foot. On the left a couple of Aragonese knightly units stuck around long enough to grind down the lighter enemy cavalry. Good game that I honestly thought was lost until the last 2 or 3 turns.

rockmanbob123 Milanese defeated GeneralKostas Papal 40-11
The papal infantry advanced cautiously on their left but was hit hard by milanese knights in a valley between two rocky hills. the terrain favored the knights and the collapse of the Papal infantry precipitated a rout.

Captainwaltersavage Castillian/Leonese 1200 - 1319 with Granadine
defeats
Bagatrix1805 Crusader 1155-1291 AD
43:17
Although this battle ended with an apparent decisive victory, it felt like unfinished business. The left flank was a flurry of light cav against archers and pavisiers, though my light cav did manage to degrade the crusader knights a little as they charged my centre line. The right flanks saw a mass of light infantry and medium cav face off against crossbows and knights. The centre was mainly knights from both sides. The battle was won on the right flank. The Crusader knights on my right flank assumed their multitude of medium troops in rough ground would hold off my rabble and so they headed for the centre - where the battle should have been decided. My rabble got lucky and smashed up the medium infantry and charged them in the flank with medium cavalry. there was a big collapse and it happened fast enough that I managed the early bath before the weight of the heavy crusader knights and spearmen could destroy my knights. I had lost two of my generals and my best knights were fragmented and about to break. Timing was everything in this one. A real nail biter at the end.
