Division B aka Division 2
Chris Townsend's English 1155 defeated Egmont's Rus 1265 67 to 40.
Somehow, the English army ended up on the steppes of Russia, and, due to lack of appropriate space on their ships, they only brought a small cavalry force ( 4 knights plus supporting units). Naturally, the opposing Rus were 80% cavalry! Most of the Rus cavalry lined up on their left and centre, where they were opposed in the centre by English spearmen/crossbows and, on the right, by the English cavalry. On the English left, irregulars and Welsh spearmen opposed the Rus infantry with some cavalry support.
On the English left, the irregulars were soon routed by the cavalry, but the skirmishers and Welshmen defeated the Rus infantry. In the centre, the Rus Cavalry generally had their way, except for a small infantry force that utilized the one square of rough terrain for some stability. On the English right, after some confused milling about, the knights and their sergeants somehow managed to not only charge the Rus cavalry, but to pursue and catch them! This is probably the only battle where the English general can't complain about over zealous pursuit!
While the English emerged victorious, they have no desire for a repeat engagement on the steppes, and, instead, proposed that we both concentrate on containing those rampaging central European armies!
Good game!

Division A
Stones1985(Christian Nubian) beat Garokan (Roman & German Horse Tribes) by a score of 61 to 52.
A strange game. The Nubians shot chunks off the Roman lights and some auxilia and took a healthy lead but were pegged back by successful legionary and warband charges. The game swung back and forth with the scores almost equal. Eventually the Nubian cavalry managed a couple of useful flank charges to just get the win before nightfall.

Basically a draw, an excellent and very dynamic battle of maneuver. Beautifully generated map, too.

Rafydedel ancient British + Roma defeats Stones1985 Christian Nubian 61-35
Armies met on a rather open battlefield. Nubian cav and light cav did an excellent job, but Nubian bowmen and below average spearmen were no match against my warband and collapsed quickly.

DIV A
Nijis (Vijayanagara) beats ulysisgrunt (French) 59 to 33.
The First Carnatic Crusade came to a bloody end in the boulder-strewn plains of the Deccan. It was a near-run thing, with the initial charge of the Swiss bringing the Vijayanagara army close to its breaking point. Local folk art for generations afterwards featured a horrific porcupine demon, with men, horses and even elephants impaled on its pike-like spines.
