Hi! I made an account so that I could let you know, when looking at the blood angels and Ultramarine units, (specifically their infantry. Looking at the terminators, intercessors, standard, heavy squads, etc...)they're massively inferior to Salamander stats. I don't mean by one point or so, I mean every stat is significantly worse on all units, like they weren't updated compared to the Salamanders.

Are you talking about the V11a version? This modification was made to extend the company's Death Korps of Krieg. The factions that appeared in it are balanced: Death Korps of Krieg, Cadians, Steel Legion, Adeptus Mechanicus, Chaos, Necrons, Orks. In one of the last scenarios, Salamanders appeared, they are partially balanced. The factions that are not equipped with weapons or are not balanced are Ultramarines, Blood Angels, Adepta Sororitas, Tau,Tyranids,Adeptus Arbites, Drukhari.Also, Custodes have not decided on gender.But I fixed Astartes for a more adequate game against orcs in the original company, they may still be inferior to Salamanders, but this is temporary. I just installed the v11a last night, and when looking at the scenario where you get to play as the astartes, just comparing stats they're still massively inferior. However, when playing the blood angels campaign, I do now see the improved stats, but they're still just objectively worse in all manners. Second i have a problem
On win 11 with warhammer.40000.armageddon v1.10.12d GOG version when i try to start community patch i got this
"You need to have a full version of WARHAMMER 400000 Armageddon (steam or standalone) in order to run community version of the game"
I have it from links provided by you some posts above.
I can start you mod Mega Merge Mod but Fourth weapon stats are not displayed correctly.
so community patch is mandatory.

Hello again.
I have good news.
I get steam version of the game.
I copied Mega Merge Mod Armageddon original but i get again this message
"You need to have a full version of WARHAMMER 400000 Armageddon (steam or standalone) in order to run community version of the game"
This time i observe that you have already a steam_api.dll file included in your mode.
So i took the original steam_api.dll and copied in the mod folder and voila , it worked.
Everything is wonderful.
Now i have a problem with community patch.
I can start on Equatorial Frontier scenario but soon i mouse over a unit gives this error
ERROR
Access violation reading location 0x4(0)
and in next dialog box
Unhandled exception Exp code 0x80000003 ExpFlags:0 ExpAddress 0x09.

That's great!Can you describe here the problems you had when installing the community and the mod?And how did you decide? Many people have problems installing it because the game is old.

so i downloaded an older version of community patch from here

It is an 1.4 GB version which include game executable.
Then i unzipped.
Then i put in that folder steam_api.dll and steam_api.ini from the steam version of original game version v1.10.12d.
Optional i put
ArmageddonGame_Heavy_MoveAndShoot_GrindingAdvance_InfantryKiller_TankHunter_Melta
which is upgraded version of community patch
And it worked.
I have win 11.
I hope this will could help others too.

So, has anyone finished playing this mod, do you have any impressions, maybe there are errors that do not allow you to go through to the end?How many millions of years have you spent completing it?

It seems the Heavily Distorted Mega Merge was deleted sometime in the last 10 or 15 minutes - I had been looking through this and had the link open and a file was present, now it's a broken link

These instructions are fairly unclear with the various 'versions' even on just this page. Are they incremental, do you need to download and install every one sequentally?
Or do you just download the base version of Megamod and then just the newest version?

Yes, links to outdated versions are not available. You can find the new versions on the last pages of the topic. I can't edit the first post - it's not my topic and I didn't start the mod, I just made another one based on it. Gotcha thanks. What I did was download that community version, the original version of the Megamod file 'Warhammer 40000 Armageddon' and then updated it with 'Armageddon folder v12a'
It works fine I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any balance updates. Krieg campaign is cool!
