Community Update and Mega Merge

Hello, I'm new to this game but I love it already. I discovered that there exists a community update and several cool mods, including a Mega Merge Mod, but when trying to install the update and mods I get several errors. Could someone explain to me what I have to do? I have the Slitherine version btw not the one from Steam.

Installing a community patch is copying files. Look here https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewto ... 9#p1040369 , the installation was disassembled several times.

Thanks, so to clarify:

1. I install the base game.

2. I copy the base game folder into the C directory

3. I apply the community patch and the Merge Mod on top of that folder
