Dev log #2 - New units in the Ardennes DLC

The new dev diary for the Ardennes DLC is out now. Learn more about the new units added in the next DLC for Headquarters: World War II, which will be available in campaigns, skirmishes, and multiplayer. And don't forget, the developers are actively working on AI improvements and multiplayer stability, so be sure to join the open beta branch of Headquarters: World War II on Steam.

Thanks for the update Oleg! I am particularly happy to see the Wirbelwind AA platform but also the Pz 42 rocket-launcher.

I had mixed feelings about the US M5 AT gun, not because of any historical consideration, but because AT guns--and all towed ordnance--are given a Camofluage of 2 which makes them easy to spot even in good concealment terrain. I consequently never see them purchased in multi-player games because they are too expensive given their fragility.

If small guns (57mm or less) were given a Camofluage of 7 (similar to Scouts and Paras) and those greater than 57mm a Camo of 5 (similar to Rifle) they may be worth purchasing in multi-player. Alternatively, reducing their cost by 25% might make them worth buying even with the bad Camofluage rating...
