Bug when playing as Holy Roman Empire?

Post by Xenophon85 »

Dear players, good evening
I have a situation which I can't really get: either its a bug or a game feature.
While playing as HRE in the Grand Campaign I start receiving troops from my vassals, what immediately eats up my money/manpower/metal reserves. I disband the new armies in order to save resources. The next turn the very same armies reappear again and my "asset stock" quickly moves "into the red". The same disbanding/reappearing armies continues for several turns.
Is this some sort of a bug OR is it a feature that is meant to simulate some sort of lord-vassal relationship in the HRE?????
Many thanks for advice and insight,
Alexander

This is a feature, and to your delight it can be turned off. Go to the diplomacy screen for each vassal and adjust your stance. I believe the default is to ask for control of your vassal’s forces.
