Excommunicated.

I'm playing Aragon. I was Excommunicated because I couldn't get rid of the heretics fast enough. Now they're all gone. How can I get that Excommunicated status lifted?

Thanks for the reply. I just joined a Crusade. Is there any way to determine an Excommunicated status? I've looked at various places such as Christian Catholic, Nation Panel and Ledger but I can't find anything.

You need to raise you rep with the pope to positive? or higher than X (I usually just pay each turn to get out of it ... yes it humiliating, but that is what its supposed to be, imaging the HRE Emperor on his knees in front of the pope )
