Re: The Thunder of Hooves round 4
Muskets are the product of a slave labour society requiring large numbers of exploited workers. Arquebus are produced by artisans working in the small workshops they own.

Long Live the Freemen of Zaphorizia!!!

Re: The Thunder of Hooves round 4
Well as the Cossacks don't have any Hooves they shouldn't be in this Campaign.......

The Thunder of Pedes looks more appropriate

Re: The Thunder of Hooves round 4
We have 3 cavalry and 3 light horse....that is more than enough hooves when they thunder into the flanks of your cavalry after they fail to break through the gallant, stubborn free men of Zaphorizia...
In the immortal words of Taras Bulba " Here's to your health my sons: to yours Ostap, and to yours Andrei. God grant you luck in war, may you beat all misbelievers: Turks and Tartars and Poles too..if the Poles begin anything against our faith.
Well push up your cups, isn't the vodka good? And what is the Latin word for vodka? Ah there you are son: the Latins were fools: they did not even know there was vodka in the world."

Re: The Thunder of Hooves round 4
Well Gribol won using the Pedes in about 5 minutes, my Hooves may hold out a little longer but will be " pedefied " as well.
Re: The Thunder of Hooves round 4
I've decided to pull the plug on this tournament.
2 players pulled out after the first round and several have expressed that they aren't enjoying the games for various reasons.
These things are meant to be fun, enjoyable and give people a chance to play other than their normal opponents.
but some are taking this way too seriously. Its not fun for them, and its not fun for me hearing their complaints.
So the tournament has ended prematurely.

Re: The Thunder of Hooves round 4
The Tournament was a good idea Andre just that some of the armies did not fit well within.
Big "thank You" for you effort and pulling the plug when it became obvious that the great idea was not practicable with the armies involved.
Many of us Pike & Shot fans await your next Tournament.
