private chat feature for empires

Will the private chat feature from kingdomds come to this game? I know it hasn't been updated in 3 years, but I think this must be a core feature and there are still a lot of people playing the game. this feature will change a lot for multiplayer. It's not nice to have to constantly ask people to send e mails.
