OR in windows you can use 'regedit' to alter the value in the registry that unlocks the three extra levels.

Hi,
what is the difference between Rommel difficulty presets and custom "rommel like" settings? Is it not the same thing?

Just started playing PC and it was very helpful.
Coming from PG2, I arrogantly started on general and was utterly destroyed.
So I'm starting the campaign over. lol :)

Agree.

I am currently using a custom difficulty with:
Player prestige: 50%
AI prestige: 50%
Turns: -5

That is a combination between Rommel and Guderian, with a PP penalty for the AI. This way it's like in the old Panzer General where to achieve DV you have to capture all objectives faster, and prevent AI to spam a lot of new units and reinforce everywhere (which is unrealistic IMO)

Tuning the behavior of an AI can greatly improve the experience and make it more attuned to the individual player’s whims. I'd love to see more options when it comes to balancing difficult levels, predominantly in the case of multiplayer modes. Have you experienced any particular configurations that actually enhanced your game?
