Tobi72 wrote: Sat Sep 21, 2024 5:46 am I know, but I like these pictures and the design. As long as there is no T-90 or SU-27 to be seen, that would be ok.

That's good, then I'll shorten the number of rounds for Wuhan. I took more time for this test because house-to-house combat is not everyone's cup of tea.

I can add a few more pictures for the units.
Well, the dumbest thing I've ever seen was a postcard for 23 February with a birthday greeting for the Red Army, and on it was a picture of a German Tiger tank.)

Storming big cities is in its own way tedious but always interesting)

Yes the photos help you feel the era and the spirit of the time )
Tobi72 wrote: Sat Sep 21, 2024 9:29 am I think I have discovered the error. You converted an anti-tank unit into a new unit in Terauchi Army, so this mission is lost. The units must remain in the initial state as they are saved that way.
Image
I didn't lose this mission just waited until all the moves had passed and banzai happened ))))) And the guns can be replaced - it's without consequences )))) The main thing is to get everyone to point A )
Tobi72 wrote: Sat Sep 21, 2024 9:32 am I will write a note about it in the mission and then I don't need to rebuild everything.

Detailed Instructions sometimes help to avoid mishaps )

Then I have misunderstood. I read it as meaning that there is no victory. Yes, I initially set the number of rounds high for the test because of the waiting time, but I have now changed that.

Yes, sometimes there are some really good pictures. As it's a mini campaign, it won't be too long before it's published.

That's what I wanted, I wrote it to you before. In the end, I'm going to turn all the Yamato missions into one big campaign with small changes and a few extra missions.

You can temporarily merge the two campaigns manually by editing the campaign.pzdat file and overwriting the script files from the Y-38 folder to Y-37

No, that doesn't work. You would have to create a new campaign for Japan, which I don't plan to do.

There are 4 maps/missions.

The maps are slightly larger and are meant to represent a different scale. For example, the enemy and friendly artillery shoots over 11-12 hexes. This seems a bit strange now, but it works well and fits into the game. One mission also consists of eliminating an enemy artillery position that is hindering the advance of the ground troops.

Strange then it comes out Lake Khasan is not in the package Yamoto -38 but it will be in the mini-company for the USSR ) I am very curious if I play for Japan how quickly I will defeat the Red Army under the leadership of stupid AI and vice versa )))))

Guns firing at 12-13 hexes is cool straight up death star )))) But we'll see, as they say ))) If the maps are not big, it will be even funny when the artillery will be firing at the other end of the map )

This railroad gun, which by the way was not used there, can shoot over this distance and you are forced to take it out with bombers otherwise you will lose too many units.

Don't worry, you'll need a few bombers and approaches. I provide bombers separately as Aux units. TB-3 for example.

EVENTS AT ZHANGUFENG HEIGHTS
On the Far Eastern frontiers the Soviet Union since 1932 bordered with the puppet state of Manchukuo-Go under the protectorate of Japan, which appeared after the occupation of four provinces of northern China by the imperial troops. The invaders planned to use this territory as a source of resources and a springboard for further hostilities in the Asia-Pacific region.

The situation on the USSR's border with Manchuria was aggravating. In many places it was not demarcated and was determined by treaties almost a century old. Disagreements about the belonging of disputed territories led to clashes between the parties. From 1936 to 1938 alone, 231 border conflicts took place, 35 of which escalated into full-scale battles.
And so will there be Soviet border guards and Manchukuo-Go units on this map ?
