[Nosferatu]

Nosferatu (German) defeats Kroche (Khorasanian) 34:65

With flat left flank, scattered rough center and a difficult mountain right flank, the battle got split into three distinct battles. The Khorasanian took up defensive positions but the Germans attacked fiercely. Except on the mountain, where German archers had to withdraw after some losses, German attack succeeded in most of the battlefield, routing two elephants and a bunch of infantry and the Khorasanian line collapsed.

Given that I have completed all other battles, I would also like to claim against Trogdor666. Our challenge was setup some three weeks ago, but he has not accepted.

All games in Divisions A and B are completed.
As only two games had been completed by Trogodor before his withdrawal these two results and all other originally intended games are made void.
Division C has three games with results still to be declared.

Subject to final confirmation at end of tournament adjudication the results are:-

Division A champion is rafydedel with ianiow as runner-up and harveylh in third.

Division B champion is tmac11 with IMC as runner-up pushed very close by princepesromanes.

However, Division C has the closest result yet seen in TDC over all six seasons.
The winner of Division C is ThatUglyGuy who finishing on the same points as cnzmur pips cnzmur on the basis of having lost fewer games - 1 compared to cnzmur's 2 - and having suffered fewer losses - a total of 258 loss points compared to cnzmurs 288. ChrisTownsend finishes in third not far behind.
Although there are three games to complete in Division C mathematically the top three positions cannot change.

Open stream across the middle of the field, otherwise pretty open ground. Byzantines had a lot of firepower including the normally fleet of foot horse archers. On this occasion they were consistently caught by charging knights and put to rout. Italian left, helped by the centre destroyed the Byzantine right by catching virtually all of that mounted wing with charges. The victory here was in such quick time it enabled the combined Italian left and centre to engage the Byzantine centre of mainly weaker infantry before the Byzantine left had finished off the Italian right wing. GG and quite satisfying for the heavier list to win vs mobility (no matter how much luck was needed)!
