1. Update your drivers. There are often bugs in the graphics & sound card driver software which get fixed after release. These cannot be fixed by the game developer, no matter how much you think they should be
We know its frustrating to be asked to do this, but in some situations this is the only way to get a game running. If you are having problems running a game, updating your drivers shoudl be the first thign you do.2. Install the latest patch. Every country has its own patch so make sure you install the correct one. To check which one you need look at the box and find the publisher logo and match it with the list on the patch page located at http://www.slitherine.com/spartan/downloads.htm
3. Have you disabled any CD emulation software? Copy protection systems are designed to make this impossible as this is one of the primary methods employed by pirates. You must disable all emulation software before playing Spartan. * The publisher version
* The version number
* Details of your machgine specs
* What happens & when it happens. E.g. which screen you are looking at, which buttons did you press to repeat the problem. WHat happens when the game goes wrong.
* A Directx Dialog file - see below for instructions on how to generate a Directx Dialog file.
How to get a Directx Dialog file:
1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
