Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Hi all,
I started a new topic: Polish fighters in the west. This is a "change insignia" project and I gathered the fighter planes produced in France, UK and USA that were equipped to Polish fighter units (at least in squadron level) from 1940 to 1945.
The first one is the French MS. 406.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Some early war British fighters were equipped to Polish squadrons including the useless Boulton-Paul Defiant, and Hawker Hurricane variants.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
The Polish squadrons were also had Spitfire fighters. Here are Spitfire I, V, and IX. The Polish insignia is around the engine nose, mostly under the exhaust pipes.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Keep working on the Polish wings. This time are the Mustangs Mark III and IV. The Allied aircrafts in Polish squadrons were all kept the original roundels of RAF, with a small Polish national insignia around the noses.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Guy armored car. It was a design in late 1930s and produced about 100 examples. Most of them were lost in France with the BEF in 1940. The chassis was also used as the base of the more famous Humber armored car family. The weapons in Guy AC include two 7.7mm MGs.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
The Humber armored car was based on the Guy AC and the production started in 1941. There were several variants, different on the turret, chassis, and weapons.
Humber AC MK.I was equipped with a 15mm MG and a 7.7mm MG on the turret.

The final form of the Humber AC, Mark IV. This one introduced an US 37mm M6 gun to replace the 15mm BESA.

Today I upload the British Coventry armored car. This is a late war design, entered in mass production around June 1944.

Re: Some "new" Artillery icons
Great unit graphic, exactly what I was looking for!

I plan to implement it in my next Addon update.
Thank you for all your hard work!
PS: Do you perhaps have a downloadable zip folder of your graphics?
longer, alternative "PG" like Campaign new version 0.34 from 2011.08.02 (another bugfix & now in zip format)

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Here is an US tank prototype. T26 turret on a M4A3 chassis. The turret was too heavy for M4 hull and made it very unstable.

No hurry, I just sometimes do thumbnail browsing through graphic packs and mods for inspiration.Birgeria wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 5:00 pmThanks Locarnus. I will upload here the zip pack later.
But will probably be busy with some balancing stuff for the next weeks anyway.
Just something for future ideas.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
US army T1E1 heavy tank tested a 90mm T1 gun. The only prototype was finished in 1943. This plan didn't continue because the T1/M6 hull was so obsolete.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Another interesting prototype based on the M6 heavy tank is the M6A2E1 assault tank. This tank has a turret from T29 heavy tank, and improved the frontal armor. It was not used to against enemy tanks, instead, the main purpose of M6A2E1 is to destroy the fortification zone or bunkers. Two prototypes were built but in August 1944, this plan got cancelled.
