grahamed Sassanid Persian 591-628 + Arab (Bedouin) 300-636 allies defeated Rob123 Roman 425-492 + Germanic Foot tribes 260-599 allies 34 to 60

The armies started by prowling toward eachother in a clockwise spiral, the Romans swept through the sassanid light infantry and begun to bare down on the Sassanid infantry. The Dalamai mediums raced through the rougher terrain and pushed in to support the Elephant herd who, egged on by their general riders ploughed in to Rome's finest.

An Elephant broke, but the others pushed through and a few of the Sassanid cavalry burst through the Roman lines, scattering chaos in the second row. Roman cataphracts pushed through on their far left and turned in, behind the sassanid line, their Sassanid counterparts pulled accross the field to face them, assisted by support troops, a struggle ensued, finally the Romans broke and the close, hard fought game drew to a close.

Alexhstandish (Hephalite) beat Frederic02 (Roman with Armenians) 47:20

A cagey battle took some time to get going. The Romans formed up in one corner of the battlefield utilizing a wood and rough terrain. The Hephalites circled each flank looking for opportunities, but the Romans maintained a disciplined defense. The Hephalites pulled back.

The Hephalites eventually ganged up on some Auxilia Palatina and foot which led to the battle being commenced. A tough fight, with the Hephalites managing to generally avoid the cataphracts and Legio Palatina, but kill enough support troops to win the day.

seleucid tried to be defensive , indo-parthian managed to attack them in a good sinergy of horse archers elephants , archers and lancers

Interesting game with two high ridges and not much room to maneuver or fight openly. The better quality Philistine infantry, with some luck, managed to eventually wear down the other side. GG!

Battle was fought very compactly around a moderate sized forest on my left with rough ground in the centre. I held the forest which the Samnites attacked with great force attempting to sweep around the flank with mounted.
My troops from the centre came crashing down upon the side of the attacking Samnites, and redirecting cavalry and hoplites to the left.

The Samnites took the forest, but the Persians won decisively in the centre and right for the win.

Fortune smiled on the Nubians. Their raw infantry, for once, held their own against their counterparts, while their elephants smashed through the Spartan line and turned around to trample their way down the length of their foes' right flank.
