mid-rupublican roman list

Post by RomanRob »

Would a legion of the following be considered as legal/usuable?

4 BG of 4 Hastati & Principes
1 BG of 4 Triarii
2 BG of 4 Velites.

Coments please.

16 bases H/P
Triarii in a quarter of that: Check
Velites half of that: Check

How you organise them in BGs is up to you.

Did you see the sticky?

No.

If I took 32 H&P I could have:

4x8 H&P
4x2 Triarii
4x4 Velites.

Or

4x6 and 1x8 H&P
1x4 and 2x2 Triarii
etc

The ratio is constant the BG are not
