We’re not there yet, Heidi. Waiting for Stew101 to pick army list for Armchairbaron and his attack, and then defenders will select their own army lists, to the extent possible.

Round 7 result.

Stew101 (Franks) defeats the invading Byzantines of Armchairbaron.

Result - 41 - 7%.

Nice open map with hills in the Byzantine centre and left, and extending forward to the Frankish right flank.
Both sides pushed forwards looking for a result.

The Franks got the better of the clashes, with there HI surviving some bad contacts with the Bizzie lancers, whilst their own warbands ground down the Byzantine legionaries. The few Frankish mounted nobles then delivered the coup de grace, finding some nice exposed flanks. Meanwhile the Byzantine flanking cavalry, on their left arrived just a tad to late to swing the result.

heidipie gepids beat Kronnenbllate visigoths

the better armored Gepid horse routed away the gothic horse, though losing some units to Gothic foot. Goths did not have any spears or enough bowmen to again offset the Gepid fully mounted army
